A Celebration of Life, Laughter & Love - Remembering Jessica Castro Murray
In the span of just fourteen months, 12-year-old Sara Murray lost both her parents. Her father, Ray Murray, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in July 2014, and her beloved mother, Jessica Castro Murray, succumbed to her brave 12-year battle with a brain tumor in September 2015.
Already having endured more than most can imagine in a lifetime, young Sara has a bright future ahead of her. Last year, in honor of her parents steadfast commitment to her education, Jessicas family established an education fund for Sara. This fund ensures that this exceptional young woman has the resources she needs to develop her considerable gifts and plan for the future.
While she very much misses her deceased parents, she is truly surrounded by a caring family. Sara's Aunt Viv and Uncle Ron have welcomed her into their home and kept her in touch with grandparents, siblings, cousins, and aunts and uncles at frequent family gatherings.
Like her mom, Sara is an avid reader. She LOVES school and continues to maintain straight As. Now more athletic as well, she is focusing her interests in volleyball. Although she may seem shy, Sara has many friends and teachers who support and encourage her.
Sara has an even more full social calendar, so Viv and Ron are busy keeping up with her movie nights, dance classes, volleyball clinics, while juggling errands and chores as a family. They completely agree that Sara is a loving, kind-hearted, deeply caring girl who has continues to bring them much joy.
