BRITTANY LASCH, TROMBONE:

Trombonist Brittany Lasch has appeared as soloist with the U.S. Army Band Pershings Own, the Queens Symphony, the National Repertory Orchestra, and the Manhattan School of Music Philharmonia.  With playing described as masterful (Syracuse Post-Standard), Ms. Lasch is a winner of Astral Artists 2017 National Auditions and the 2017-2018 Second Place winner of The American Prize in instrumental performance.  She was the winner of the 2015 National Collegiate Solo Competition and the 2010 Eisenberg-Fried Brass Concerto Competition, and was the recipient of the Zulalian Foundation Award in 2014. Her trombone quartet Boston Based was won the 2017 International Trombone Associations Quartet Competition.

Ms. Lasch has received prizes in a wide variety of prestigious trombone competitions.  She has performed with numerous regional orchestras across the United States, participated in the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland, and has appeared at such noteworthy events as the Spoleto USA Festival, Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, and the Aspen Music Festival.

A native of Park Ridge, Illinois, Brittany Lasch earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University, where she received the Brass Department Award. She also holds a Master of Music degree from Yale School of Music.  Upon graduation from the Manhattan School of Music, she received the coveted John Clark Award for outstanding accomplishment in Brass Performance.  With a deep commitment to education, she has maintained a private studio for the last decade and has presented masterclasses at Louisiana State University, Towson University, and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She is currently Instructor of Music at Bowling Green State University.


DIRECTIONS:

Directions to Delaware Valley University, Life Sciences Building

From Philadelphia  Take Route 309 North to Route 202 at Montgomeryville. Go north on Route 202 to Route 611. Go north on Route 611 to the State Street exit. Follow signs to Delaware Valley College. Turn left at New Britain Rd and next right into the Life Sciences Building parking lot. Or go past New Britain Rd. and turn left at the College entrance.

Going north or south on Route 611, take the bypass at Doylestown to the State Street exit, which is State Street and East Butler Avenue (old Route 202). Follow signs to the College. The entrance is at the second light on Butler Ave. Turn left on Student Center Drive and park in the lot behind the Student Center next to the Life Sciences Building side entrance.

FREE PARKING: The parking lots adjacent to the Life Sciences Building will be available for concert parking. In order to accommodate overflow, concert goers can use the Universitys Main Entrance and park in the stadium parking lot, where a Bucks County Transport shuttle bus will be available from 7:00-8:30pm to take you to the Life Sciences Building (where the concert is being held) and return you to your vehicles after the concert.

Special Parking for seniors or for those needing assistance is located behind the Student Center at the side entrance to the Life Sciences Building.
