Basic Home Herbalism: Weekend Intensive
This weekend immersion is a special event that will only happen once this year, so mark your calendars!
This is an opportunity to study with me and immerse yourself in herbalism and plants for a whole weekend. Think harvesting, tasting, hands on activities, connecting with others with similar interests, discussion and lots of practical knowledge. Yum!
During the weekend we will: - Make an infusion and decoction and sample together - Mix some basic herbal combinations and learn their uses - Harvest herbs together at the Beacon Food Forest - Focus on 10 basic remedies for common ailments - Discuss dosage and safety - Make fresh plant tinctures together (you'll make your own so you can take the whole thing home) - Any other surprise activities that emerge during the weekend :)
We will meet from 10-4pm on Saturday and Sunday in North Beacon Hill near Light Rail (address disclosed upon ticket purchase). I will be in touch with information about what to bring with you on our study days and more details about what to expect.
DATE: September 22, 10-4pm and September 23, 10-4pm LOCATION: North Beacon Hill (address on purchase of ticket) COST: $140 per person for the whole weekend MAX: 12 students
