An Evening of Womens Music with Lucie Blue Tremblay & Cynthia Butts
Lucie Blue, from Quebec, French singer/songwriter is one of Canadas beautiful voices . Her global message is honor, strength, tolerance and peace. As a member of the LGBTQI community she approaches songwriting with love and truth as she honors women's music from her core. Lucie has shared the stage with such prominent social justice performers as James Taylor, Pete Seeger, Sarah McLachlan, Cris Williamson and Holly Near.
Cynthia Butts Cynthia Butts is the Minister of Music at Ainsworth United Church of Christ, directing a well-known Portland area gospel choir. An outstanding vocal soloist, she has performed in many churches both in Portland and other cities across the U.S. Additionally, Cynthia has sung in concert choirs in Maine and Oregon, including Viriditas and Concord Choir. Cynthia has a degree in music education and, early in her career, taught music in the Maine state school system.
