Sound and Soul - A weaving of classical song and sound healing
Join us for an evening of art song and opera, woven into a field of light, two art forms brought together to carry an audience through emotional transformation to a space of tranquility within.
This event is a fundraiser for low-income students seeking voice lessons. Please give as freely as feels right for you. $100 covers private voice lessons for one low-income student for one month!
Elodie Perroud - Light weaver, singer, and teacher, lives and works mainly in Davis CA. Her journey in continuing her education in the field of music and heath have led her to braid strands from the two art forms into a unique sound experience for all.
Sam Bachelder - A Sacramento based Pianist who will soon be moving to Colorado for graduate school studies will join on the piano.
Note: Heather Later-Clay Jewelry Artist, intuitive and song mother will open the concert with a sound meditation guided by her tuning in with much revered touch her crystal bowl.
