Big Gay Dance Party - Pride Edition
IT'S BACK! Friends For Life and Mid-South Pride return with the loudest and proudest party of the year!
Join us as we transform the New Daisy Theater into Memphis's most glittering, glamorous, over-the-top dance club, with a sound system and light show that can't be beat. DJ A.D. and her team will share the opera boxes as we set the stage for a night of music, dancing, celebration and community. Best of all, your ticket covers a limited open bar for the evening (canned beer, vodka cranberry cocktails and Pride Punch) and a buffet of appetizers to keep you fueled for fun ... Plus all the dancing you can handle!
New features for 2018 include a redesigned layout that allows dancing on the open stage all night long, ten new bartenders and two beer stations, professional dancers on platforms throughout the room, a roller skate street team to greet you on Beale, and projection art by NYC video artist Leo Herrera. If you'd like something beyond the libations offered with your $20 ticket, cash bars are also available until 2:00 am.
Don't forget tip money for our go-go boys and go-go girls, who will each bring you a color of the rainbow. Each go-go will also represent a community partner that supports LGBTQIA causes ... All their tips go to that organization, so tip them well to support the causes you love most, while also embracing the energy and excitement of this once-a-year experience.
Floor level VIP tables includes champagne bottle service and a live model as your centerpiece and your table captain. These tables seat 10 people each. Three additional VIP tables seat 6 people each and are available as the "Voyeur VIP" section in the balcony of the theater, overlooking all the fun with easy access to the dance floor below.The Projector Room, a fully furnished lounge with its own champagne bar and Maitre D', accommodates 15 people and is located on the third level, with projector windows overlooking the balcony and dance floor. This is the most prestigious VIP package and includes customized decor and an hors d'oeuvres menu themed to your personal taste.
Reserved sections, fully furnished with couches and lounge chairs, can also purchased along the dance floor. These accommodate 10 people. All VIP and reserved sections include special light-up swag.
