Event
2018 Spring Lake Water Bark
Bring your happy dogs for a memorable day of water play! Purchase tickets here or at the door.
Water Bark events will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on FOUR weekends in September: Sept. 8-9, 16, 22-23, and 29-30. *Note that there will be NO WATER BARK ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 15.*
Remember: Each *dog* needs a ticket or a season pass, not each person!
The Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation is collaborating with Sonoma County Regional Parks to offer this hugely popular event permitting off-leash swimming for dogs. Proceeds benefit the Parks Foundation, which provides support for our dog-friendly Sonoma County Regional Parks.
Award-winning local photographer Julie Vader will once again take high-resolution action pictures of your happy, wet doggies as they have fun. The photos will be available the next day online (www.julievader.com) and can be downloaded for as little as $10 for a social-media size copy, with higher prices for larger digital sizes and prints. Half of each photo purchase will be donated to the Parks Foundation.
Buy your tickets here for faster entry at the event; tickets will also be available at the gate on each Water Bark day. **Note that entry ticket does not cover a daily parking fee of $7. Parking is free for Regional Parks members.**
**Back by Popular Demand -- Season Pass!** The season pass returns to the Water Bark this year. For just $30, you can skip the lines after your first visit and enjoy the Water Bark throughout September 2018.
We request that all dogs coming to the Water Bark have current vaccinations, and the County of Sonoma requires all dogs over 4 months to be licensed from the agency that serves their community.
During the Water Bark, a temporary fence is put in place, keeping dogs close at hand and out of other areas of Spring Lake Park. Water at the Spring Lake Swimming Lagoon is slightly chlorinated and filtered, ensuring that dogs have a safe environment for swimming.
We are grateful for the support of sponsors Stanley Steemer, Paradise Pet Resort, AcCounting on Computers, Green Valley Consulting Engineers, Mary's Pizza Shack and Julie Vader Photography.
By purchasing these tickets, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, Sonoma County Regional Parks, the event organizers, and their officers, employees and volunteers from any actions, claims, damages, suits or expenses that may be brought as a result of participation in this event.
