American DREAMers

PhilHarmonia is proud to celebrate the close of its 5th Season with American DREAMers: Stories of Immigration. The concert will feature works by Brooke Joyce, Jarrod Fischer Green, Rich Campbell, and the world premiere of American DREAMers: a multimovement work on the texts of Dreamers by composer, Melissa Dunphy.

The concert is free to the public, and asks guests to consider giving a free-will offering at the door. All offerings will benefit HIAS (hiaspa.org) an advocacy group for undocumented immigrants in the United States.

PhilHarmonia is a 30-voice chamber choir based in Philadelphia. Founded in 2013, it has been performing under the direction of Dr. Mitos Andaya Hart since 2014. PhilHarmonias mission is to sing great music for everyone. Audiences laud us for the diversity of our repertoire and the accessibility of our presentation. American Dreamers: Stories of Immigration will be the capstone concert of our 5th anniversary season.
