CHIC
This year Hope Covenant is so excited to be sending 6 students and young adults to Knoxville Tennessee from July 14-20 for the CHIC Conference...but we need YOUR help to do it. CHIC is a conference that gathers students from throughout the Evangelical Covenant Church in one place for five days of worship, transformation, and fun. CHIC acts as a catalyst in students lives, helping them see the big picture of Gods kingdom and inspiring them to dive deeper in their faithtogether.
As a life-long believer and the proud Youth Ministry Director of the church and a previous attendee of CHIC I can personally attest to the incredibly life changing nature of a conference like this. Each student gains an opportunity to learn more about the bible, hear remarkable speakers, worship with some of the top names in Christian music, and take ownership of their own faith through seminars and independent studies. There are also a plethora of fantastic free-time opportunities that allow students to socialize and bond with students from their region and across the country. In just five days students come back completely awakened with themselves and their belief in God, and it truly is the definition of a priceless experience.
However, there is a price. The conference and flight are both not free and we need YOUR to help get Aaron, Luke, Samantha, Annaleise, and Will there. We are hoping to raise between $3,500 and $4,000 through this campaign and need the help of the community as we encourage positivity and growth in the students that are our future.
In order to make the trip financially possible for this great group of students we are throwing a community Garage Sale and online fundraising campaign. The Garage Sale will be taking place June 22-23 at the Hope Covenant Church Campus and we are now accepting donations, but understand that not everyone is in the area but may still want to support so they can do that through this online giving campaign.
