German Song Recital featuring emerging artists of the German Vocal Arts Institute with Exhibition and Live Painting by Sissy Altom
Singers from some of the best music schools have come from all over the United States to study with GVAI and sing here in Seattle.
You will hear works ranging from Schubert to Johann Strauss, touching romantic art songs, selections from Mozart's Magic Flute and favorite operetta highlights.
It will be an afternoon full of beautiful music, joy and laughter.
Sissy Altom, born and raised in Austria, now living in Redmond, will use the inspiration of the music to create a live painting that can be purchased at the end of the performance. This is your chance to witness the union of two unique art forms and to be inspired by beautiful music. Sissy will also exhibit her paintings that are inspired by nature.
