Farm to Ballet at Vermont Grand View Farm
Event Date: Sunday July 15th 2018
Doors Open: 4:30pm
Show Start: 6:00pm

Vermont Grand View Farm sits high on a hill overlooking the Green Mountains and is home to Vermonts only flock of Gotland sheep. We are thrilled to be a part of Farm to Ballet this summer and look forward to hosting you for an evening of dance, laughter, family & friends, and life on a sheep farm.
Gates will open 1 1/2 hours before show time so that our guests will have time to run to the top of the hill to take in the grand view, take a self-guided tour of the farm, visit with our Gotland lambs, or watch a sheep dog demonstration. Families may also come to our fiber studio in the barn where all our farm products will also be on display and available for purchase, and shepherd Kim will be available to share with you the story of our Swedish sheep.

We look forward to sharing our farm with you! Be sure to look for our daughter, Anna, a soloist dancer in Farm to Ballet!

Seating: Audience members should bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs. Their will be different designated seating areas for picnic blankets and lawn chairs to allow optimal viewing for all audience members.

Rain Plan: In the event of inclement weather, the show will be cancelled. We will do everything we can to perform outdoors if possible. In the event of cancellation, ticket holders may continue to donate their ticket to the cause, get a refund or exchange for another show.

Food: Bring your own picnic dinner or visit Farmer Chuck for some of our own wood-fired pizza with ingredients from  Neighborly Farms, Luna Bleu Farm and Freedom Foods (gluten free crusts available), pulled pork sandwiches, gelato from Sweet Doe Dairy, cookies, and lemonade. These and other seasonal treats will be available for purchase in the back yard by the herb garden. Please bring cash for all your purchases.

PARKING: Parking will be in a field and alongside of the road. Folks should be prepared for a 2-5 minute walk (possibly with steep terrain) to get to the farm and performance field. Limited parking for those with mobility challenges will be provided directly in front of the performance field.

NEW THIS YEAR: the entire ballet production will be performed live by a string sextet!

Please buy tickets in advance of the event. Tickets go OFF sale 12 hours before the event begins. Tickets sold the day of the event at the door will cost:
$25 general admission and $10 for children 12 & under.
