Cast & Coal Gathering
Catawba River Campground is proud to host the 2018 Cast & Coal Gathering!
Do you like camping?
Do you like cooking with cast iron?
Can you cook some delicious meals over a campfire?
If you answered yes to these questions, you should definitely attend the Cast & Coal Gathering! We'll have private riverside camping all weekend and The Cast & Coal Cook-Off on Saturday.
There's 3 divisions: Desserts, Sides and Entrees. 1st place in each division will win bragging rights and a new cast iron skillet, made in the USA.
Cast Iron Cooks, Patrons, Family and Friends of Catawba River Campground are all welcome to attend The 2018 Cast & Coal Gathering. Register before the event. Our max for this event is 150 attendees, first come first serve.
As always, the staff of Catawba River Campground will light up the sky with the Saturday night bonfire. Bring your s'more makings!
