CONCERT A: THURSDAY, MAY 17TH @8PM at Hudson Guild Theater (Elliott Center)
*CANDACE TABBS is a Dancer, Choreographer and certified Fitness Professional/Personal Trainer who earned her B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Dance at Barnard College. Candace has had the honor of working with Jamie Jackson, Gabriella Bruno/Shift Dance Collective, Donna Uchizono, Oren Banroy, Ephrat Asherie, Carlos Neto and Poetic Theater Productions and teaching and performing with Joya Powell/Movement of the People Dance Company and Dances for a Variable Population. *EMILY WOLFE -- originally from Winston-Salem, NC -- is a performer, choreographer, yogi, and facilitator who is passionate about creating meaningful work through collaboration across different fields. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance from Florida State University. She has performed works by Gerri Houlihan, Cassie Meador, Helen Simoneau, Alex Ketley, Rodger Belman, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Mark Morris, Daniel Clifton, and Jee Ahn. In New York, Emily has performed with Natalie Johnson Dance, Roza Savelyeva, murderdance and the Wolfgang. She worked at the American Dance Festival as a teaching assistant for Rodger Belman (2013) and Gerri Houlihan (2012,2015); still working as a demonstrator/rehearsal assistant for Houlihan today. Emily is the first recipient of the Simon Family Scholarship -- receiving six months of dance class and mentorship with Alexandra Beller. In 2017, Emily studied with BNS Iyengar in Mysore, India and received her 200 hr yoga teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. She currently teaches with Dancing Classrooms and Silva Dance.
*THE ROGUE DANCERS are a Queens based dance company founded in 2012 to create original work with a commitment to collaboration as a means of creating the strongest work possible. Their work is rooted in examining dance as a medium for storytelling with the goal of invoking emotional and thoughtful reactions. We draw inspiration from personal experiences, art/pop-culture, and third wave feminism.

CONCERT B: FRIDAY, MAY 18TH @8PM at Hudson Guild Theater (Elliott Center)
ANAMARIA AMADOR received an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2007. She has danced professionally in Puerto Rico, New York City, Martinique and Spain. Her choreographic work includes collaborations with visual artists, musicians and actors such as Ana Rosa Rivera, Omar Torres Calvo, Federico Balducci, Teofilo Torres and Wilkins. She is currently studying for her MA in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College -- also concentrating in Spirituality Mind Body Practice and Movement Science.
ATLANTA DANCE COLLECTIVE, founded in 2015, is a group of artists who are creating engaging contemporary work in the Atlanta dance scene. Dance Canvas 2015 served as the catalyst for Atlanta Dance Collective through the mutual involvement of Britt Whitmoyer (now Fishel) and Sarah Stokes. "site." choreographed by Britt Fishel and commissioned through Dance Canvas, premiered at the Rialto Center for the Arts and featured Sarah Stokes as one of the dancers.
CALVATOR is the joint choreographic being created by Cayla Simpson and Salvatore Bonilla. Cayla and Sal met on their first day of classes at Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas, where they achieved BFAs in dance. Sal Originally from Puerto Rico and Cayla from New Mexico, have created many works based on their life adventures.
JADE SALZANO, age 21, currently attends Mason Gross School of the Arts as a BFA Dance Major -- where she has had the opportunity to create works on her peers, as well as perform repertory by Yvonne Rainer, John Evans, Cleo Mack, Blair Ritchie, and Aaron Ramos. Her work has been seen at the Loree Dance Theater, the Algonquin Arts Theater, as well as through local theater with the Livingston Theater Company.
JIYON SONG is a performer, choreographer and improviser based in multiple cities. She was born in Gunsan, South Korea and graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA -- where she developed her personal physical vocabulary. She has organized several collaborative exhibitions including (dis)Comfort Women and Self-Ness at the Gershman Y Hall in Philadelphia. Song has also performed in works by Jesse Zaritt, Nora Gibson, Sidra Bell and Andrea Miller.
NAOMI ALCANTARA -- TBA
SO YOUNG PARK, from South Korea, began dancing at age 10 -- moving to the States in 2006, after being accepted to SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance where she earned her B.F.A in Dance Performance in 2010. She performed in works by choreographers Aranxta Sagardoy, Natalie Desch, Bettijane Sills, Rosanna Seravali, Lane Gifford, and Cynthia Fuller-King -- as well as works by Paul Taylor Dance Company, Mark Morris Dance Group, Doug Varone and Dancers, and Manhattan Youth Ballet in summer training programs. When studying in Burgos, Spain, she performed works by José Limóns Missa Brevis and Aranxta Sargardoys new work at the Teatro Principal. She completed her M.F.A. in Dance at NYU- Tisch School of the Arts; having the privilege of performing in Ori Flomins new work. As both a choreographer and dancer, she participated in NYC's KoDaFe, Dumbo Dance Festival 2017, and NYC Dance and Music Spring Festival 2018. She also danced at the AstorAlive Festival as a dancer in Ori Flomin's work 'Together, together'.
YAMINI KALLURI is a professional Kuchipudi dancer based in New York, NY. She has been practicing this dance form for more than ten years now. She has been under the tutelage of the legendary guru, Padmasri Dr. Sobha Naidu. She has been teaching Kuchipudi for over six years now. She aims to bring a new face to Kuchipudi. Yamini has performed in various prestigious festivals and venues across India and internationally. She is now a youth member
of the International Dance Council, UNESCO.

BOBBY MORGAN -- With a love for music and movement of all styles, Bobby has recieved diverse training and inspiration from: Desmond Richardson/Dwight Rhoden of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Dana Foglia, and Erica Sobol to name a few. Bobby holds a Certificate of completion from Peridance's Intensive Semester Program in NYC and has also been involved in The Gypsy Project 2017 in Los Angeles. Along with ballet/contemporary influence, styles such as voguing, hip hop, house and jazz are fused together to form one language. As a choreographer, his mission is to bring forth cohesive art in an effort to bring together the classical and commercial dance communities, and appreciate the art form of dance as a bridge we use to communicate and relate to each other.
DANCE INTO DELIVERANCE -- Under the direction of Jessica Ray, Dance into Deliverance aims to explore the creativity of the Word of God through movement and film. By creating and exploring ways of intertwining the spiritual principles and the art of dance, we want to change the landscape of dance ministry, by stretching it beyond traditional guidelines. The contemporary movement crafted through the collaborators is charged with athleticism and thoughtfulness, and the themes of the work echo the motions of love, justice, redemption, peace, triumph, and deliverance.
DANCE VISIONS NY brings Isadora Duncans artistic legacy into the present through the performance of Duncan works as passed on to Artistic Director Beth Jucovy through her 2nd generation Duncan mentors, as well as through presentation of original works, influenced by the Duncan aesthetic, that take on a different form in the modern world. A 501c3 not-for-profit organization since 2011, the company was originally founded by Ms. Jucovy in 1990 as Dance Visions. Since that time, Ms. Jucovy has created a full repertory of programs and original works which have been presented at theaters, festivals, museums, centers, schools, universities, libraries and parks throughout the NY metropolitan area and beyond. The repertory focuses on works that express and explore our shared humanity - timeless themes as well as experiences of our current times. FALCON DANCE (Neha Shastri + Bric Falcon collaboration)
Neha Shastri is a vocalist and composer based in Brooklyn who grew up in various places and amongst the cultures of New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Australia and Italy before studying at The School of Jazz at The New School in NYC. Nehas sound and tastes, shaped by the diversity of her upbringing, are inspired by everything from classical sitar and bebop to 90s hip hop and electronic music driven by synthesisers and drum machines. She founded The S5th Collective in 2012; a Brooklyn based artist collective providing an inclusive environment for artists to showcasing multidisciplinary work -- hosting performances by the likes of Reggie Watts, Moon Hooch, Aaron Parks, Loft Opera and Manu Delago. In 2018, Neha debuted a solo project that explored latent beauty in minimalism by moving away from more structured songwriting and diving into the world of soundscapes. Using her voice and sparse electronics, Neha invites her audience to lose themselves on the kaleidoscopic journey of her immersive sound creations of ethereal atmospheres.
Brit Falcon -- born in Massachusetts and raised in Rochester, NY -- earned a BFA at The College at Brockport, receiving the honor of The Rose L. Strasser Dance Award, the Friars Foundation Award for summer study, a scholarship to the Bates Dance Festival, and a 2009 nomination for the School of Arts and Performance Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award. Since graduating Britney has been named The Muse Brooklyns Presenting Artist in Residence, the NYU Gallatin DCA spring semester Artist in Residence, and the New Dance Collective 2017 guest artist. She was also recently awarded a three-week Emerging Choreographer's Residency at the 2017 Bates Dance Festival. As a performer, Brit has had the pleasure of working with William Evans, Kista Tucker Dance, Inc., TrioDance Collective, Bryan Strimpel, Donnell Oakley, Keigwin + Company, and David Dorfman Dance. Her choreography has been shown throughout the Northeast, and in venues such as 92nd St.Y, Dixon Place, Triskelions Arts, BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Green Space, Rochester Fringe Festival, Alchemical Theatre Laboratory and The Center for Performance Research. Brit teaches at Gibney Dance Center, and works as a massage and movement therapist at Dynamic Alignment Training Center.
HEE RA YOO is an International choreographer who founded the New York modern dance company Yoo and Dancers in 2009 after completing the MFA program at NYU Tisch. Before moving to New York City in 2007, Ms. Yoo danced with the Korean National Ballet, the California Ballet, the San Diego City Ballet, the Canberra Dance Theatre in Australia. Ms. Yoo has taught dance at universities in the U.S. and Korea and as a guest teacher in Japan, Canada, Italy, and Austria. She has coached the Australian and Korean Olympic Gymnastics Teams. In New York City, Ms. Yoo has taught at Steps on Broadway, the Joffrey Ballet School, Dance New Amsterdam (Gibney Dance Center), and Peridance.
JILLIAN DAVIS DANCE PROJECT -- In 2013, Jillian Davis Dance Project (JDDP) was developed to create an environment in order to help choreographers in developing work in the studio. JDDP has presented works in various festivals, choreographic competitions, as well as guest choreography opportunities across the nation.
JOE MONTELEONE -- Joe Monteleone is a multimedia solo dance psychonaut and Artistic Director of Monteleone Dance who reincarnates archetypes in contemporary dance theatre. His unprecedented movement vocabulary illustrates a visual "Maya", the world of illusion.

LOUIS DeVAUGHN NELSON (DeVo) is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Hokum Arts. He studied education and playwriting at DeSales University, Drexel University and The New School. Nelson was named Best New Choreographer by Philadelphia City Paper and has been recognized for his video work that delves into cultural and movement research. He received a top prize for YouBahn at the CIANT Festival of Film and New Media Art in Prague. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
REBECCA MCcORMAC, originally from Brisbane, Australia, received her MA in Dance at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006. In 2008, Ms. McCormac moved to NYC to join Barry Blumenfelds Tap Fusion (New 42nd Street Theatre - Off Broadway), Ellen Stokes-Shadles Dance Works and the faculty at Perfect Pointe Performing Arts Studio. In 2011, Ms McCormac founded CoreDance Contemporary -- comprising of six dance artists who bring different cultural and dance backgrounds to form a hardworking and dedicated ensemble that choreographically investigates different, and oft times contradictory, movement vocabulary to explore and realize one's kinesthetic physicality as it takes form in space. CoreDance has had five sold out Spring Performance Season's at The Mark O'Donnell Theatre at The Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY -- also performing at APAP - New York City Center, The ODC Theatre - San Fransicso, Your Move NJ, Alvin Ailey, Steps on Broadway, DANY Studios, PMT, Dixon Place, White Wave, Triskelion Arts, The Actors Fund Arts Center and Green Space.
NAPAT SAI RODBOON is originally from Bangkok, Thailand. She trained at Aree School of Dance Arts and later graduated with a Bachelors in Dramatic Arts from Chulalongkorn University. She has choreographed for dance shows and theatre productions in Bangkok since 2009. In 2016, she moved to New York, joined the Professional Semester Program at Broadway Dance Center and later -- in the same year -- was accepted into The Ailey School.
GREGORY KOLLARUS and BARBARA GAIL MONTERO are members of Logos Dance Collective where they aim to build bridges between the arts and philosophy. Gregory trained at the Joffrey Ballet School and the Martha Graham School and teaches dance on Long Island. Barbara is a former professional ballet dancer with North Carolina Dance Theater and Oregon Ballet and is currently a professor of philosophy. Their choreography has recently appeared at the Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center as part of the Periapsis Open Series and at Johns Hopkins University as part of a discussion on the science of echolocation and at the Tank as part of Logos Dance Collectives The Missing Shade of You: A Dance Dialog between L. A. Paul and Marcel Proust.
JIALI WANG is an award-winning dance artist currently based in New York City. She completed her BFA at Beijing Dance Academy, receiving an MFA at SUNY Brockport. During her MFA studies, she obtained The Pylyshenko Family Endowment Fund for International Student Award and The Summer Dance Award with David Dorfman Dance Company, while also being selected to perform in ACDA Northeast Conference 2016 and ACDA Gala Concert. Also in 2016, she received the Tuition Scholarship from American Dance Festival and performed Vanessa Voskuils Footprints work, Walk. In 2017, Wangs MFA Thesis was performed at Mark Morris Dance Center. She also presented work in CBG Dance Fall Festival at Access Theater in Manhattan.
DALIT AGRONIN, a native Texan, has been working to develop her voice as an NYC-based artist since 2016. Dalit graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA -- receiving a BA in Dance and Psychology. While at Muhlenberg, Dalit studied in Israel through DanceJerusalem and the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance. Dalit's choreography has been showcased in the Lehigh Valley and in New York City at CC Bond Gowanus, Mark Morris, The Tank, The Actors Fund, Freddys Bar & most recently Dixon Place.
GRACE WILSON -- Grace attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) in Houston, Texas as a dance major. While at HSPVA, she had the opportunity to perform in works by Larry Keigwin and Laura Gutierrez. Grace received a BFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University. Her work has been presented at the Houston Jewish Community Center and the Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston. In spring 2016, Graces work was adjudicated at the American College Dance Association, South-Central Conference in Canyon, Texas. Grace has interned in arts administration for several prestigious arts organizations including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, and Society for the Performing Arts. She recently completed several teaching artist residencies in collaboration with The Town Hall, instructing NYC public school students in creative movement and tap dance. Grace currently resides in Brooklyn, NY where she continues to pursue choreographing, teaching, and administrating.

CONCERT E: SUNDAY, MAY 20TH @2PM at Hudson Guild (Elliott Center)
ASHLEY STAFFORD -- originally from Bloomington, Indiana -- came to NYC by way of Lexington, Kentucky. She is a choreographer, teacher, performer, photographer, and pianist who studied extensively at Indiana University pre-college ballet and music programs. She graduated from Transylvania University with honors, receiving a BA in Piano Performance and a minor in Psychology. Her choreography has been showcased in the Brooklyn Dance Festival, Gotham Dance Theater's Emerge Choreographer's Showcase, in the New York Jazz Choreography Project, at the Holi Hai Festival on Governor's Island, at Dixon Place, in Emotion Physical Theatre's Evening of Contemporary Dance, and in the NACHMO 2018 Theater Performance. Ashley aims to fuse together her diverse training, life experiences, musical knowledge, and passion for the arts to create works that are relatable, genuine, and powerful.
CHLOE LONDON is originally from Manhattan, NY and grew up dancing at East Village Dance Project. She graduated in May 2017 with a BFA in Dance from SUNY Brockports Honors College. In Rochester, London performed for the touring company Chamber Ballet Brockport and in works by Mariah Maloney, Laura Peterson, Sara Zehnder, Stevie Oakes, Vanessa VanWormer, Ashley Friend, Tammy Sugden-Carrasco, and James Hansen. Within the past few years, she trained her research and writing muscles at American Realness, Dante Brown|Warehouse Dances Our Lips Project, Jacobs Pillow Dance, The Kitchen, and Movement Research. London resides in Brooklyn, NY pursuing choreography, performance, and arts administration. Currently, she is working administratively for Jody Sperling/ Time Lapse Dance, and dancing for Lou Mandolini/Something Blue Project, Elizabeth Furman, Maddie Kurtz, Hunter Darnell, Lexie Thrash, Young Dancemakers Company Alumni Ensemble, The Merce Cunnungham Trust, and Tammy Sugden-Carrasco. In addition, she creates her own work in New York City and looks forward to being a counselor at the 2018 Bates Dance Festival Young Dancer's Workshop.
GINA MONTALTO began her training at New Jersey School of Ballet and The American Academy of Ballet. She later moved on to modern and contemporary styles while studying at Rutgers University and College of Morris where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and her Associates of Fine Arts respectively. Professional credits include seasons with Artsy-e Dance Company, Introspective Movement Project and currently with Impact Movement Collective as well as dancing for Vivake Khamsingsavath, Bryan Strimpel, and Joe Monteleone and performing in festivals such as Balasole, The Brooklyn Dance Festival, Conkrete Jungle, Dance Astoria, and Amalgamate Guest Artist Showcases and Koresh Dance Company showcases in Philadelphia. In addition to stage presentations, she worked on Justina Graymans Woman Versus A Dance Film and an immersive dance theater project for Brandon Powers- And It Felt Like a Kiss. Ginas own works have been shown at Chen Dance Centers NewSteps New Choreographers Series, The Moving Beauty Series, Translate 2017, events produced by The Creators Collective, Kodafe Dance Festival 2016 & 2017, Fertile Ground, Sans Limites Dance Fall and Spring Showcases and many more.
*IMPACT MOVEMENT COLLECTIVE (founded in 2015 by dancer/choreographer/actor Laura Henry) is a collaborative group of artists with a unique approach to generating movement; using their own impactful stories, as well as literary works, to foster human connection through dance, drama, and energetic contemporary movement. Over the past three years, Impact Movement Collective has produced and presented various works at the NYC venues of Hudson Guild Theater, Dixon Place, St. Mark's Church, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, Chen Dance Center, and Harlem Repertory Theater. The company also produced two benefit concerts, helping provide scholarships to over 16 girls in underprivileged countries.
JESSIE SECTOR is an Astoria based choreographer, dancer, and teacher, currently teaching for Pilobolus Dance Theater, and for local studios in Astoria, and Riverdale. Sector graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2013 with degrees in both Dance, and Arts for Children education, while also competing as a NCAA Pole Vaulter. Sector has been a guest artist with Geomantics Dance Theater, and DanceWorks NYC, and has performed with Kelley Donovan and Dancers, Jessica Gaynor Dance, Converge Dance, Pilobolus Dance Theater, Maja Bakija, NACHMO, and many other talented artists in the NYC area. Through a fully collaborative process with her dancers, Sector strives to create work that is refreshingly accessible and entertaining. Through an unconventional movement vocabulary, humor, and collaboration, we can develop a deeper understanding of what brings people together, and what defines us as unique, and creative individuals.
