The Black Business Tour ®: Trading Spaces
The Black Business Tour® brings a FULL-SIZE passenger bus tour to an experience centered around -brands who sell through trunk shows, social media and websites. We've received so much support from our businesses without walls and an overwhelming demand to incorporate them into a tour. Here's your chance to get exposed to businesses youve never driven past before!
Join us Easter weekend for a "Private Tour event" as we spotlight vendors which include: a unique pop-up build-a-cupcake experience by Order Those Cupcakes; bra fittings and complete consultations with Up Where We Belong for ladies with more to love; enjoy chic & trendy retail shopping with Vintage LaFleur; House of Mosaic and their yummy candles, sprays and hand-drawn notecards supporting local young artists.
House of Mosiac will also lead an interactive class experience of beaded mosaic technique, rich in artisan culture! Discover the how-to's of working with glass art and take home a small canvas displaying the skills youll learn! There is an $8.00 materials fee and participants will receive 10% off a future class!
Learn about and craft waistbeads through a hands-on workshop. Explore an ancient African tool used for weight loss and mindfulness. Tie bonds of love, unity, and embrace authentic sisterhood with other beautiful and diverse women during The Tour.
Handmade men & women's custom jewels by C. Devonacha; baby boutique Love Olu showcasing fun, African-printed organic products for the precious little persons in your life; sustainable jewelry pieces from ethically-conscious The Silver Feather, Written 3:16 selling amazing cards of daily inspiration and affirmation to help guide a journey towards a positive lifestyle, and more!
If you've toured with us in the past, then you know we love a good collaboration! The Tour will be hosted inside of Black-owned Sip & Sonder, an amazing creative hub which houses a cafe bar and recording studio. We will hear from them about what they're doing to strengthen community and culture over coffee.
We'll start the day with shopping and treats as we browse, indulge, and engage through the amazing efforts of our pop-up peers as they strive to create, sell and GROW their brands through engagement with You!
We will enjoy a 2pm brunch with Black-owned Soul Hollywood, a full-service restaurant and bar in the heart of Hollywood, which boasts a sprawling design space and an amazing head chef with an inspiring story of how she landed on the busy boulevard of one of the most sought-after areas in the city. Our buffet-style brunch menu will include:
-Soul Fried Chicken and Waffles with bourbon whipped cream and maple syrup
-Scrambled Farm Fresh Eggs, roasted vegetables and Ricotta cheese
-Roasted Potatoes, caramelized shallots and herbs
-Applewood Smoked Bacon

FAQ
Q. Can I come to the event if I dont participate in The Tour?
A. No. We have reserved the space as a private event during The Tour. Only ticketed guests will gain access to Sip & Sonder during our scheduled time there. All walk-ups outside of The Tour will be turned away until our event ends. Once our event ends, vendors will breakdown and their sales will end.
Q. Is brunch included in the cost of the ticket?
A. No. The estimated cost of the brunch is $25 before tax and gratuity
Q. Is my ticket refundable?
A. There are no refunds. Because our businesses rely on your involvement for their participation, its important that you make the best effort to attend OR gift your ticket to a friend!
Q. Where does The Tour meet?
A. The Tour Bus will meet at 9:45 am at an Inglewood location that will be shared with ticketed guests on The Monday Before the Tour. Free ample parking is provided at the meetup point.
