The taro is the root of our people. It is what sustains our life. Each part of the taro has it's use and purpose.
Hula enables us to bring these stories of our kupuna to life
A hula showcase featuring the dancers of Halau Hula Ka Lei Mokihana I Ka Ua Noe. A hula performance dedicated to the Kumu Hula of the past and the present that have helped mold our halau into who we are today. Some of these mentors are here today and others have passed. This is how our halau pays respect to the legacy of these important Kumu in our lives.
