Gong Bath with Jon Mueller
Magnolia House and Claire Mooney Health are beyond excited to invite you to our first Gong Bath with Jon Mueller. By using multiple gongs, his keen understanding of sound, vibration and space and how these elements resonate profoundly within the individual and also the collective, Jon will lead us through an hour of transformative energy. Both his passion as a percussionist and his meditative approach to rhythms, allows for each session to be a tailor made, illuminating experience.
There will be three sessions each limited to 15 guests. 1p 2:30 4p

Jon Mueller has been a drummer and percussionist for over twenty-five years, performing throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Japan including the esteemed venues New Museum (NY), The Arnolfini (Bristol, UK), Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, (Montréal, QC) and the Guggenheim Museum (NY). The aim of Muellers solo performance is to engage an audience in listening practice by creating a variety of input both recognizable and not, understood and not, which causes a unique experience in each individual. In addition to his solo work, he was a founding member of the bands Volcano Choir, Collections of Colonies of Bees, and Pele, and directed the multi-disciplinary project Death Blues, encouraging presence and celebration of each moment.
