Community Dance Party

AN EVENING EVENT ON THE ISLAND FOR REGULAR ADULTS! THERE WILL BE BEER, WINE AND FOOD!

The base of a meeting hall meets the acidity of a revival. This is largely a socializing and dancing-as-the-spirit-moves-you event. ALL WELCOME, especially the self-proclaimed introverts that 'don't party' or 'would rather stay home'. Socializing and shared experience is the antidote to the prevalent isolation monger at work in our culture today, and all one has to do for their own health is show up, mostly.

DJ SIDECAR spinning dance tunes all night long--funk, soul, hip hop, new wave, Latin and global grooves, some early rock and roll and whatever you write on a piece of paper, make into an airplane, and launch across the room to the stage without poking anyone's eye out. ESSENTIAL AUDIO GROUP assuring quality sound and ruining you for places that never considered acoustics part of the business plan.

This is an 18+ event. Come dance and socialize uninhibited! Bring your business cards to add to new community board here that will blow your mind.

TICKETS $10 at either of the two record stores on the island. This community dance party is one in a series of events to play to and benefit Seven Sounds, a world-class music festival and permaculture fair coming to Port Gamble, Summer 2019.
