5K March for Meals walk

Each year Coastal Seniors holds a month-long celebration to raise awareness and funds for our Meals on Wheels program. The celebration includes a lot of activities, including a 5K walk at the Gualala Point Regional Park to conclude the event.

The march will be held on Saturday, March 23 and will begin at 10 a.m. The main walk will be 3.2 miles with opportunities for participants to walk shorter distances (one or two miles) if necessary.

Registration fees are $35/adult or $20 if 18. Participants can raise $100 in pledges toward their walk and the registration fee will be waived. Participants are also encouraged to form teams of six walkers or more to march in honor of a senior who has impacted their lives.

Everyone who registers will receive snacks before the walk, a t-shirt, and a sack lunch following the walk. Due to limited parking, there will be a free shuttle service to the Gualala Point Park from downtown Gualala the shuttle will also bring people back when the event is over. Parking is extremely limited at the Gualala Point Park those interested in parking there must pay $7 parking fee and arrive early to guarantee parking.
