Data Driven Decision Making Evaluation Continuous Quality Improvement Accountability Performance Measurement Getting to Outcomes Value Propositions
Whatever you call it, everybodys talking about it! Not-for-profit stakeholders are increasing their demand for data and metrics to demonstrate impact. Learn how to get started for building your capacity to measure impact, improve program planning, help drive good decisions, and become more competitive for funding opportunities.
In this workshop, you will:
Learn how to create an evaluation framework
Understand important terminology related to data driven decisions - process v. outcome evaluations, outputs v. outcomes, etc.
How to use Logic Models to illustrate and clearly communicate the relationships between program needs, activities, outputs and intended outcomes
Establish intended outcomes that are ambitious, achievable and actionable
Develop and prioritize realistic measurable indicators
Formulate evaluation questions and select methods that will work for your staff
Design reports to utilize your data and results.
Come with one of your own programs in mind - feel free to bring existing program descriptions and logic models. Leave with a logic model and initial evaluation plan!
Gathering the right data and knowing how to use it is what matters.
