So You Want to Be a Farmer
Christensens Farm
Browntown, WI
Share this event:

Do you have plans or dreams to purchase your own part of the country?  If and when you do, have you decided what you want to do with it?  Join Katy Dickson for a tour of her 12 acres operation.  We will discuss the progression of the farm's equipment and livestock purchases, CSA and market garden business, and how we decided to go in the direction we have gone.  We will then take time to discuss your goals and ideas and possible ways to get there.

A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

On behalf of the South Central Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union, thanks for participating in SOIL SISTERS. Since this is an annual event, we invite you to share your experiences on our Facebook page or other social media you use. Of course, we're always looking for ways to make your experience better, so let us know what we did right and what we could improve upon. Hope to see you back again next year where they'll always be something new to taste, animal to meet or soil sister to greet.
