Mt. Lebanon Evening Theater Company presents "The Adventures of Robin Hood."
The year is 1194 in Nottinghamshire England and the beloved King Richard has been called off to the Crusades, leaving his brother, the greedy Prince John, in charge. When Robin Hood and his Merrie Band catch wind of the nefarious Sheriff of Nottinghams plan to collect taxes (again), they cannot help but...help! They follow the Sheriff into a nearby village where they temporarily foil his plans and run into the feisty Maid Marian. After some tomfoolery in Sherwood Forest, the Sheriff vows to get his revenge on Robin Hood, kidnaps Marian, and arranges an irresistible archery contest with his henchman, Oswald the Unready. Will Robin fall into the Sheriffs evil trap? Follow the Merrie Band on this classic adventure of intrigue, disguise, and justice!
