TRIGGER Reunion/A Leg Forever Boston Marathon Fundraiser
The popular 70s rock band, "TRIGGER," will reunite for one night on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 - 6:00pm at Breakaway in Danvers, MA.
Formed in Stoneham, MA, "TRIGGER" (later renamed "Voyager" and "The Features") performed hundreds of shows throughout the New England area from 1975-1983. Originally formed as a four piece band in 1975, "TRIGGER's" original lineup included: Mike McKee-guitar & vocals, David Kilty-bass & vocals, Frank Hussar-guitar & vocals & John DeChristopher-drums & vocals. All band members were high school freshmen at the time. Keyboardist Paul Bencal joined "TRIGGER" in 1977.
"TRIGGER" reunited on December 19th, 2015 in front of a sold-out crowd to celebrate it's 40th anniversary, and again in November of 2016.
On Saturday, March 10th, 2018, all the original band members of "TRIGGER" (Mike McKee, John DeChristopher, Frank Hussar, David Kilty & Paul Bencal), plus subsequent members of "Voyager" (Paul Sciaba and Paul Giannelli) and Neil Porter, Charlene O'neil Porter and Paul Candilore of "Grand Theft Audio", along with vocalist Cindy Bencal, will reunite for one night at Breakaway on Rte. 1 in Danvers, MA.
Tickets are $25 and include a buffet dinner from 6:00-7:30PM. A portion of the proceeds will benefit "A Leg Forever," a non-profit charitable foundation established by Liz Norden, mother of JP and Paul Norden, Boston Marathon Survivors who each lost a leg in the bombings of April 15, 2013. A Leg Forever assists amputees with prosthetic funds and bedside care. All donations are Tax-deductible. ALF Marathon Teammates will be fundraising throughout the night with Silent Auctions, Raffles & 50/50! ALEGFOREVER.COM
Opening the show once again is "Jethro Dull" featuring Chris DeChristopher and Bo Kennedy.
So drift back in time for an evening of your favorite songs from our high school years, while also supporting a very worthwhile cause.
