Come see Philly-based artist MsWritten Art by Qori Moorehaul paint semi-nude (social media friendly!) model Hardy Brooklyn into a new and exciting work of art. Photograph the process or just watch and socialize with fellow art lovers over complimentary drinks and snacks.
Moorehaul's art features abstract expressionist pieces in the cartoon real-life style. Her art is an expression of turning negative emotions into something positively beautiful, with a drippy, gloppy, bright, deep and multi-dimensional style. Her images of flowers an trees symbolize change, personal growth, and triumph over turmoils.
Up-and-coming performance artist Hardy Brooklyn was born and raised in Brooklyn and Nassau County. Hardy was the black sheep of his community, stifled by the conservative environment and society's expectations. Hardy was able to rise above it and became successful in many different industries. On New Year's Day 2016, Hardy and a friend walked into a party and were chosen to be bodypainted. Since then, he has been active in the bodypainting and underground arts, music, and fashion scene. His energy is synonymous with being the life of the party.
Professional photographers will be on hand if you want tips and tricks for getting the best shots. You'll also be able to take home one high-quality print up to 11x17" of your best photo (list price $35) -- included in the $30 ticket price!
