Boston Foodie Tours ("BFT") focuses on "award-winning" best eats, culinary education, and the city's rich history. Our 80+ tour partners include Best of Boston winners, James Beard Award winners, food institutions, and the like. We offer public tours and private tours, restaurant dine arounds, and community-based cooking classes with leading industry professionals.

Iconic chowder, a top-100 pizza, a Best of Boston sandwich, a Food Network magazine-featured cupcake, house-made cheese and authentic vinegars and oil, Old World Italian bread, pasta at a multi-award-winning restaurant, and Italian pastry. This tour has it all!
How do we distinguish our food tour from an authentic Italian food tour? Our tour mixes the old and the new, and amounts to a dinner! On this tour, you'll experience the best of the current North End, which includes a mix of Italian and non-Italian food.
The tour group meets in the lobby of the lovely Bostonian Boston hotel, which is centrally located steps away from Faneuil Hall.
We'll start with chowder at the country's longest, continuously-running restaurant. (Okay, technically, not in the North End, but we don't think that you'll mind.) Next up? A top-100 pizza (varies depending on weather), and the 2015 Best of Boston sandwich. Down the street, we'll visit a bakery that Foder's Travel recognized as one of "America's Top 20 Dessert Stops". Don't blink, or you'll miss our next two stops. They're hidden gems, and, when we say *hidden*, we mean *hidden*. One of them has won Best of Boston Bread Bakery twice in recent years. Freshly-made pastas, daily-made mozzarella, and balsamic vinegars and EVOO all await us before our final stop: a pasta course at the North End's "Best Neighborhood Restaurant". And how could we end our tour without offering you dolce for the road? Our Italian grandmothers wouldn't hear of it!
