"A BROADWAY CHRISTMAS" - 12 time Broadway Star Ms. Christopher Callen performs her acclaimed solo cabaret to Benefit Citizens Commission On Human Rights !!!
"A Broadway Christmas" is a unique and delightful musical evening sure to make you laugh, touch your heart and inspire you with the Spirit of the Holidays ! Internationally acclaimed singer-actress and Broadway star, Ms. Christopher Callen,(* see bio below) has put together a solo concert incorporating a wide variety of styles of songs from Rock to Operetta--- all of which have something to do with Christmas and Broadway.
Some of the songs are popular and well known such as, "Winter Wonderland" or "Jingle Bell Rock". Others are little known gems like "Christmas Gifts" which was cut from the Broadway show "She Loves Me" before opening. This special musical material was garnered over the years from Ms. Callen's research in The Performing Arts Library in NYC, helpful Broadway conductors and other musical friends who had a passion to contribute to this project.
It was honed and polished with the help of the evening's Musical Director and arranger - Mr. Paul Horner. Reknowned as a musical collaborator with the incredible Miss Peggy Lee, Paul co-wrote Miss Lee's autobiographical musical "Peg" and the song "Dear Aquaintance"! Covered by Regina Spector in 2016 , it is now known and loved by millions around the world!

As an Actress ----Ms. Christopher Callen has starred in 12 shows on Broadway, including "Fiddler on the Roof","1776","Lend Me A Tenor","Brigadoon,"Rodgers and Hart", and the "Desert Song ". She has also starred on every major stage in LA - Pantages, Ahmanson, Geffen and Pasadena Playhouse. She had the honor of creating the lead role of "Margaret" in the local Premiere of "Light in the Piazza " and was seen this last year in "Diva's from Hell" at the Odyssey Theatre.
Her TV and Film credits are extensive as well , having recurring roles on the" Young and the Restless "( "Ellie") "And One Life to Live" ( Dr. Gail Dexter"). She has also had Regular Roles in 3 series and a myriad of Guest Star appearances. Ms. Callen has performed opposite John Travolta, Bruce Willis,Treat Williams, Ed Asner and others. Christopher has been seen in 12 movies over the last 3 years, including the recently released "Deep Water 3-CageDive". However, Ms. Callen is still unforgettably revered by fans as the "Mouthy 'Circus-Circus' Waitress" opposite Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro in the cult classic"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" !
As a SINGER-----Ms. Christopher Callen has performed her solo cabaret in NY, LA , San Francisco and world wide. She has sung in over 41 countries! Christopher proudly recorded for Paramount Studios for a number of years where her solo voice can be heard on movie and TV themes. She also recorded music for Warner Brothers, Universal and many independent music producers. Christopher began her singing career at the age of 16 , when her father moved the family to Tokyo Japan. Christopher got a job singing with a 13 piece orchestra 5 nights a week at the local NCO Club at Tachikawa, Air Base--- between bingo sets! She soon learned and began to sing in Japanese and that opened the door for her to be invited to appear on TV and film work there. She was hooked as a singer and actress from then on ---
