The People's Harvest Forum is yearly event on radical food politics that aims to inspire and empower activists to work towards food justice and food sovereignty.
The theme for the 2017 People's Harvest Forum is "resources" - - resources that corporations usurp and monopolize and resources that communities defend and reclaim. What resources can help us build a People's Food System? We will explore land, seeds, popular education and much more.
This is the only event of the sort to integrate an animal liberation ethic in its vision for just and sustainable food systems and to provide a platform to veganic farmers.
We aim to make the forum accessible to people of all income levels by keeping registration prices low. We also offer a sliding scale for low-income individuals; our priority is for you to join us. The sliding scale is on an honor system; if you can afford the regular price ticket please choose this option.
Registration includes a light vegan lunch, snacks and free entrance to a vegan BBQ on Sunday night.
Can't make the People's Harvest Forum this year? Sponsor someone else to attend!
