Not Your New Year's Eve Party!
Henry Rays beautiful alto tenor voice can he heard on his popular YouTube channel, Henry Ray Sings. Pictured on the right is the Henry Ray Quintet from the July 8th, 2017 monthly engagement at Tsion Café, in Harlem, New York City.
Henry Ray sings music from the great American Song Book. He interprets the melodies and lyrics of song writers and composers such as George Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Irving Berlin,
Harold Arlen and Cole Porter. Henry Ray has performed throughout the metropolitan area. In addition to his regular show at Tsion Café, Harlem, NYC he can be heard regularly at La Rivista in Times Square.
Henry Ray has appeared at such noted venues as the prestigious Friends Lake Inn, Chestertown, NY, the Queensbury Hotel, Glens Falls NY and a fabulous performance to ring in the New Year at the fabled Sagamore Resort and Hotel in Bolton Landing, NY.
This past summer, the Henry Ray Quintet conducted a concert at the historic Carol Theater in Chestertown NY. He also appears at the SPoT Coffee House in Glens Falls, NY. In addition Henry Ray and his accompanists are regularly featured at community centers throughout New York City and upstate New York delighting senior citizens with the music they know and love.
Les Kurtz is a New York City based Jazz Pianist virtuoso and has performed in many of the major jazz venues located in NYC, the outer boroughs, upstate New York, and internationally. Les has performed in concerts and festivals as well as clubs, restaurants and private parties.
His solo piano interpretations are exemplary. Les has put together several music ensembles. He has worked with many outstanding vocalists who range from Jazz and Blues to Pop and R&B and who are excellent in interacting with the audience.
Les can be found playing grand piano at Cleopatras Needle on Manhattans upper west side every Wednesday evening. On Thursdays he is at La Rivista, on Restaurant Row, steps from Times Square, and on Sunday afternoons he is at the world famous Smoke on
Manhattan's Upper West Side. Most weekends, Les is at Papazzios in Bayside NY, on Saturday evenings.
