13th Annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Fest
New for 2018!
The Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail is delighted to make an exciting announcement today...
We are moving our 13th Annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival to Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, MI because of the growing popularity of this showcase event and because of the favorable addition of MORE wineries to the area.
The date remains the same - it has always been the third Saturday in June & in 2018, the date is June 16. Tickets for the 2018 event are on sale starting today! $10 in advance or $15 at the gate.
We are staying true to this signature event as weve always done for the last 12 years whereby our attendees sample our wines by taste or by the glass, all the wonderful locally-grown-and-produced varietals from The Lake Michigan Shore AVA including 12 Corners, Baroda Founders, Cody Kresta, Cogdal, Contessa, Dablon, Domaine Berrien, Fenn Valley, Gravity, Hickory Creek, Karma Vista, Lawton Ridge, Lazy Ballerina, Lemon Creek, Round Barn, St. Julian, Vineyard 2121, Warner and White Pine.
The festival will continue to feature fantastic regional live music programming, a big top tent that houses our awesome wineries, access to the beach and beautiful Lake Michigan, an enviable sunset and a whole lot of world-class wines! All below the backdrop of the towering sands of beautiful Warren Dunes.
New and improved this year! Guests now will have the convenience of driving into the Dunes and parking directly adjacent to the festival & beach! We have room for thousands of cars!! No need to take shuttles anymore. *Warren Dunes State Park does charge a nominal fee for parking, per caror use the Michigan State Passport for parking: http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10365_55798---,00.html
Also new this year! We will be showcasing area food trucks and other local restaurants to pair with the amazing varietals!
