KY BURT www.kyburt.com
Ky Burt is a touring artist, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Portland, OR. In October 2016 he released his debut EP to critical praise from national media outlets and radio stations. He is currently working on a full-length album to be recorded in winter/spring 2018. Here is what 'NO DEPRESSION' has to say about his music.
"So, we will leave Tom Waits to tell us about the saloons, whores and carnival folk. Let John Prine nail toy railroad tracks to his kitchen table at Christmas, sing about his Mexican home while Randy Newman swabs us with political satire, short people, and money that he loves. Now we have KY Burt to bring us to places where we might want to live where there are wildflowers, rain, and we can take new journeys. Yes, there is a viable musical place for Ky Burt." - John Apice, ND

OLIVIA AWBREY Bandcamp link: https://oliviaawbrey.bandcamp.com/
Olivia Awbrey is an internationally touring folk/punk songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Portland, OR. She might seem like another Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter with self-absorbed tales of tenuous relationships, political critique and feminist outrage, but these days, is anything more relevant? Olivia released her debut solo album, Fight or Fight, in March 2017 after debuting her act at the 2017 Folk Alliance International. Olivia has won scholarships and awards to perform her songs across the US at Folk Alliance International (Kansas City, KC), FAR-West Regional (Seattle, WA), and the Spokane Fall Folk Festival. Fight or Fight has received radio play in the US and UK, and praise from the folk and punk communities alike.
MARGARET WEHR www.margaretwehr.com
Margaret Wehr is a folk pop artist originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her original music centers on themes of learning what it is to love, the illusory art of personal growth, and the importance of introspection for self-discovery. Her ethereal vocals and rhythmic guitar stylings have an Allison-Kraus-meets-Joni-Mitchell quality - an edgy sweetness with soulful inflection, and thoughtful lyrics woven into catchy melodies. In addition to her solo project, Margaret performs with local Portland bands Y La Bamba, Moorea Masa & the Mood, and Promise the Moon.
