F.L.A.V.O.R 12-06-17 Event: Candle Nights Feast & Vegan Haven Grocery Discussion
Join Food, Learning And Vegan Out-Reach for a vegan dinner and discussion. We'll be serving a hearty holiday meal featuring:
- Spinach Artichoke Dip - Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute - Gardein Holiday Roast - Scalloped Potatoes - Stuffing - Brussels Sprouts - Variety of cookies
We'll also have Doug Armstrong, manager of Vegan Haven, sharing insights into vegan life. He will answer questions and talk about options at the all-vegan grocery store, information on Pig's Peace - the animal sanctuary that is funded by Vegan Haven, and vegan activism in general. Doug is very active in several vegan organizations and is passionate about helping spread awareness of vegan lifestyles.
If you would like to take part in our totally optional cookie exchange, please sign up for a free cookie exchange ticket. We will email participants several days before the event to let you know how many cookies to bring. Each person who chooses to bring cookies will bring enough cookies to share with other participants. Everyone choosing to be a part of our cookie exchange will get one of each kind of cookie brought! The cookies MUST be vegan!
Tickets for the dinner are limited to 25.
