Walking Ghost Tour of Downtown Lowville
The history of downtown Lowville is long and sometimes unsettling. Silas Stow, an early settler, established himself in Lowville in 1797. It was designated the county seat in 1864, succeeding the community of Martinsburg. Any village this old is bound to have it's share of hauntings, ghost stories, and unsettling spectral disturbances. Between accidents, fires, suicides, and murders, the downtown area of Lowville presents plenty of entertaining stories for those who are not faint of heart. Family friendly, daylight tour. Lasts between 1 - 1.5 hours. All stories for entertainment purposes only. Anyone over 6 will need a ticket.
