The Miss Fisher convention, for fans of the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries TV show.
Registration price includes:
1. All sessions (more info at missfishercon.com)
2. Optional membership in the Adventuresses' Club of the Americas
3. Thursday evening welcome reception (includes heavy appetizers)
4. Friday night banquet dinner and costume masquerade
5. Saturday buffet luncheon and member meeting (member option only)
6. Coffee and tea service all day Friday and Saturday
7. Con tote bag with goodies
As requested by the first con's participants, we've added meals to our conference budget so that attendees will have time to chat with old friends and new. All of our registrants are invited to the Thursday reception and Friday night banquet, but our first-ever annual members' meeting will be held at Saturday's luncheon, so only members and their invited guests will be admitted. Non-members are welcome to explore the many nearby restaurants during the luncheon.
The Embassy Suites Portland Downtown has a block of rooms set aside at a special price for con attendees. Hotel lodging includes plenty of perks, like complimentary happy hour and full breakfasts. (If you're not staying at the hotel you may pay a fee and opt-in to these activities.) All rooms are suites, and big enough to share (up to four to a room!) - if you're looking for a roommate, check out our Miss Fisher Con Roommate and Travel Connections Facebook group to get in touch with other fans who might have the same need.
Embassy Suites reservations for con attendees
For the full con experience, plan to arrive Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday. Many people will extend their trip further to have more social time, so check with your friends to see how you can make the most of your vacation.
