Best Home Buying Seminars: October 18, 2017
Our first time home buyer classes are fun, educational sessions designed to give an overview of current market conditions and the home buying process. We are a unique partnership of top professionals in the DC Mortgage, Real Estate and Settlement Industries to provide you with seamless customer service. You will learn all you need to know to become a savvy buyer!

-Rent vs. Buy All the right reasons to determine if home ownership is meant for you
-Mortgage basics: rates, points, fees
-Financing basics: FHA, Conventional, Conforming, and Jumbo loans
-Buyer agency and choosing an agent
-Writing an offer and navigating through to a successful closing
-Importance of a buyer consultation and understanding of contract contingencies
-Locating the property and completing necessary due diligence
-Avoid red flags and learn how to easily save up to $2500 in closing costs

MEET THE TEAM:
Joe Zamoiski
Joe Zamoiski, III is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of Boston University. Over the last 20 years, he has excelled at turning clients into friends every day, first while working as an account executive for Washington Sports & Entertainment (the parent company of the Washington Wizards and the Washington Capitals) and now with WashingtonFirst Mortgage.
Joe joined the mortgage industry in 1998 and found the business appealing as it was an opportunity to help people realize their dreams of home ownership. His mission to his clients is to treat them the same way he would want to be treated and to spend as much time as needed to ensure their comfort with the entire process.
He is consistently among the top of his peers in the industry and has thousands of happy clients. Joe also has teamed up with his twin brother Jason to create Team Z Mortgage.
Joe spends most of his free time either on the golf course, at Deep Creek Lake, or with friends and family. Joe is active with many local charities, loves to travel, and enjoys working out, yoga and fishing. Joe is also a passionate fan of the Steelers, Caps and Wizards. Joe lives in Bethesda with his wife Barbie and his dog, Lola.
Denise Verburg
During her decade-long career in real estate, Denise Verburg, a former Londoner who is fluent in French, has used her global perspective and local market knowledge to earn her place among the top one percent of real estate agents in the nation. Denise was named one of the Best Agents in the Washington, D.C. region by Washingtonian magazine in 2016. Some of Denises clients affectionately call her their British bulldog for her tenacity and consistent, passionate advocacy for their interests.
Denise loves helping people buy a home they fall in love with or sell their home to move on to the next and guiding clients through the wealth-building process of real estate transactions. She is equally comfortable educating first-time buyers at homebuyer seminars and assisting sophisticated luxury home buyers find a home that meets their high standards.
A multicultural background is invaluable in a cosmopolitan city such as Washington, D.C. and its suburbs. When Denise and her husband decided to return to his native United States over 20 years ago, she took the opportunity to align her financial expertise with her interest in real estate and her wish to spend more time helping people fulfill their dreams. Denises experience as a financial analyst, matched with her insight into the city and its neighborhoods, have generated a steady stream of referrals.
