Black Repertory Group Mainstage Productions and BRG HETT presents a timeless family classic with a BRG flair; in celebration of the 54th Mainstage Season.
Ease on down the road with Dorothy and friends as BRG Mainstage Productions brings the wonder and amazement of "The Wiz" to the BRG stage. "The Wiz" is a staged musical filled with quick witted action and comedy.
"The Wiz" boasts an uplifting soulful musical score of R&B, Pop & Disco; that makes the audience want to dance in their seats. "The Wiz" is a timeless classic that inspires audiences to sing along with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Lion as they dance their way to Em City and their magical journey through Oz.
The Wiz boasts an uplifting soulful musical score of R&B, Pop & Disco. The All-Star BRG cast makes the audience want to dance in their seats and sing along to their favorite tunes. This production showcases the finest talent in the Bay Area: Nate' The Soul Sanger as Dorothy, Jamal as the Scarecrow, Stefon Williams as the TinMan, Chris Poston as the Lion, Dana Grant as Mz. 1, Divine Celiane as the Evil Witch, Niecey Living Single as the Good Witch and special appearance by Armand Carr as The Wiz on December 10th and 17th!

Finale Galas are on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 5:00 PM. The Pre-Show Reception features the delectable From Sea to Soul Food Buffet presented by Family Pot.

Black Repertory Group's HETT Program Health Education Through Theater; has partnered with several key organizations is the SF Bay Area to provide free show tickets to homeless families in our community. Offering them a chance to bond and experience the arts, all while having some family fun.
