Lullabies for the Soul
A Sound Journey with Shay Nichols & The Murmurations Duo
Sound healing is a beautiful and gentle way to offer support during these chaotic times. It opens up pathways of remembering in us, bypasses the mind and taps into a much larger intelligence. It can be a powerful part of community healing as well. As we walk the path of ash, sorrow and loss with friends, family and strangers impacted by the ongoing wildfires raging across California, we feel moved to offer Lullabies for the Soul.
You are cordially invited to a VERY intimate evening (Only 20 spaces available) of improvised musical landscapes with three exquisite sound healers: vocalist, Shay Nichols joined by Mumurations Duo instrumentalists, Suellen Primost and Jeremy Marais.
Tap into the transformative power of sound. Sink into the moment, open to Source, the wellspring of comfort, healing and renewal.
Throughout the evening, Shay will personally connect with each guest, offering soul soothing vocalizing, while Suellen and Jeremy bathe the audience in a musical tapestry of transcendent sounds performed on cello, dragons eye tears, Tibetan singing bowls, saxophone, clarinet, hardwood and frame drums, tuning forks, balafon, kalimba and small percussion instruments. Chairs and couches will be available at the venue. (For full relaxation, bring yoga mats, blankets and cushions)
Tickets: $25-$50. Due to VERY limited seating, (20 spaces only), EARLY BIRD online tickets will available up to 24 hours before the event, on a first come, first served basis. Directions to Chez Ruti (near Indian Rock in the Berkeley Hills) will be given with EARLY BIRD bookings.
