Latinx Dance Party and Fundraiser with Roka Hueka and Son Ilusión
Friday 10/27: Latinx Dance Party & Fundraiser with Roka Hueka and Son Ilusión at the Mercury Cafe 8:00pm1:00am in the Dance Hall (upstairs)
8:009:30pm: Roka Hueka. With members from Mexico, El Salvador and the United States, Roka Hueka (Spanish for hollow rock) serves up a high-energy show with a politically-charged message and a ska back beat.
10:0011:30pm: Son Ilusión. Led by Alonzo Bejarano, Son Ilusión includes musicians from Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Denver playing a wide scope of popular Latino musical styles.
PLUS 11:301am: Latinx Dance Set with DJs Cathy Ragland, Michael Cardenas and Miguel Espinel Pulgar

The Society for Ethnomusicology is coming to Denver and in celebration, we are holding "Ethno Nights at the Mercury Cafe" --performances every night from Wednesday 10/25 to Saturday 10/28. All are welcome. Be there or be square!
