John Astin House Concert in Carlsbad, CA
About John:
John began his study of the guitar at the age of seven, and at 19, began singing and songwriting. Since 1990, he has recorded 7 CDs of original, contemplative music that are distributed worldwide. About his music, John writes: "The poet Rumi reminds us: 'Let the beauty that we love be what we do.' The creation and sharing of this music is one of my favorite ways to express this love for the mystery and the miracle that is every moment."
Along with his career as a singer, songwriter and recording artist, John also holds a PhD in psychology and has for the past two decades been a leading researcher in the fields of mind-body medicine and the health applications of contemplative/meditative practices.
