2017 Suzi Bass Awards

The 13th Annual Suzi Bass Awards Ceremony brings together professionals and patrons of the Atlanta theatre community to celebrate the 2016-2017 live theatre season. Twenty professional Atlanta theatres participate in a year-long, independently-judged process resulting in outstanding nominees in thirty-one categories of plays, musicals, and theatre for young audiences.

Also presented are the Volunteer of the Year Award, the Spirit of Suzi Award, the Lifetime Achievement, the Callboard AWard and the Gene-Gabriel Moore Playwriting Award for an Atlanta-based playwright produced in the previous year.

Including live performances from nominated musicals, the 2-hour ceremony is followed by an on-site catered after party with complimentary food & beverages. Atlanta theatre celebrities mingle with the audience of nominees and patrons for a fantastic celebration of the Atlanta Theatre family.

At the Conant Performing Arts Center located on the beautiful Oglethorpe University campus in Brookhaven, free parking with on-site security make for a comfortable, fantastic evening.

Suzi Awards participating theatres include 7 Stages, Actor's Express, Alliance Theatre, Aris, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Atlanta Shakespeare Company, Aurora, Center for Puppetry Arts, Dad's Garage, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Gypsy Theatre Company, Horizon, The Legacy Theatre, Serenbe Playhouse, Stage Door Players, Synchronicity, Theatre du Reve, Theatrical Outfit, True Colors Theatre Company, and the Weird Sisters Theatre Project.

PLEASE NOTE: If your ticket order includes a complimentary ticket because you are a performer, judge, staff, or Lifetime Suzi Member - you cannot request your tickets to be mailed to you. Please print your tickets at home (BEST!) or ask that they be held at will-call.
