Quantum Dog in a Deep Blue Jaguar
After 30 years in prison, quantum physicist Jack is finally being released. He immediately seeks out his old friend, Thomas Bradley, a brilliant scientist in his own right. Thomas is now married to a former singer, Brenda Bradley, who has become trapped i her home with her agoraphobic husband. They also live with their grown son, Thomas Jr., who is seeking his own identity and is lost in personal weakness.
Enter Frankie the "D" - a local mobster, his daughter, Jack's mysterious Vision, and headstrong Glen - a waitress at the neighborhood coffee shop.
Quantum Dog is one of Goldberg's best works in terms of it's strong representation of women who are capable of navigating their world without the men around them, and sometimes in spite of them.
Featuring Ellis Burgin, Alex Dostie, Tracey Girdich, Tobin Jordan, Aaron Masi, Dennis McSorley, and Steph-Marie Szenasi.
Stage Managed by Goldberg-veteran Paul Schnabel, and directed by the Jazz improvisationalist himself, Steve Goldberg.
