Black Bell - Crossing Crusades - The Wilder live at Rock Hard PDX

Black Bell (Eugene), have been writing, recording and performing since 2009, their sound is a powerhouse of catchy hooks, solid melody, soaring leads, and infectious metal tinged grooves.
"Tempered ferocity" may sound like a contradiction in terms but it is, in fact the defining characteristic for Black Bell. Self dubbed as "High Contrast rock," Black Bell employs multiple layers of sonic texturing for a mature sound that is simultaneously catchy and melodic, and dark and heavy.
An emotionally charged live performance makes Black Bell one of Eugenes many risings stars. Combining classic, modern, and progressive influences with pop sensibilities and a brutal guitar attack, Black Bell sets themselves apart as a musical force to be reckoned with.

The formidable Crossing Crusades (Tacoma), started as an accumulation of
years of dueling guitar riffs between Retten (Cruzer) and Sam (The Ogre). An impromptu jam session in 2016 rekindled the passion to write and the search began to fill out the group as they brought in bass player Aaron (Ale), whom they have worked with in past projects 9 years earlier. After an elaborate search for a beat-master we found a diamond in the rough right under our nose in Kevin a co-worker of Sams. Originally brought in to play guitar and sing but once he heard our style his interest was drawn to the drums. The band became complete as we found our voice in Chris, his presence and sound was exactly what we have been looking for. With a fine mesh and collaboration of individualized artistic views, we formed the brotherhood known as Crossing Crusades.
They are a fairly new and growing Tacoma native band which bring an eclectic range of talent, falling into the Nu Metal/Alt metal rock scene. Crossing Crusades are excited to bring their music to Portland! If youre a fan of Alter Bridge, Five Finger Death Punch Fandom, Black Veil Brides, Stone Sour, Devour the Day, Deftones, Slipknot, or Windowpane youll want to check these guys out!

The Wilder (Portland) plays fast, loud, high-energy rock 'n roll with a sound that sparks a mood of inspiration, and is dusted with influences by vintage groups such as Deep Purple, Cream, CCR, Foghat and The Beatles. Fans have described them as The Black Keys on speed.
