ProMotion X
Motion X Dance DC has officially entered their third season as a professional modern dance company. The company recently hosted an audition gaining four new, talented dancers. This performance is a showcase and celebration of the company's new and returning performing artists, as well as their fresh leadership.
These artists are currently not compensated for rehearsals or outreach events. With that, this event acts as a fundraiser to ensure artist compensation for the 2017-2018 season. The Metropolitan School of the Arts, one of the company's primary sponsors, has agreed to host the event in their new blackbox theater. The rest of the proceeds will go directly to the performers (ticket sales, raffle sales, etc.) There will be refreshments before the show, "inside views" with the choreographers during the show, and VIP personal discussions/Q&A's with company members at the end of the performance.
