EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience required! Whether you have never painted before, or if you paint often, this inclusive workshop is for YOU! It's a full day of painting, mixed with mindfulness.
All you need is an open heart and a curious soul.
Registration is limited, so sign up early!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Doors to the studio open at 9:30am to allow for settling in and a small breakfast. Anu & Dionna are committed to creating a safe environment for hands-on creative growth and expression. Dionna is teaching the painting sessions, which provide hours of painting time, while Anu guides the class with centering and intention setting, as well as providing beautiful music to paint to.
The morning painting session will use an intuitive approach with prompts to promote exploration of mark making, motion, music integration, and a feeling vs. thinking approach.
We'll gather for a healthy lunch (provided) that includes a mindful eating exercise with Anu, and a mini-movement break.
Our 2 afternoon painting sessions provide plenty of additional time to explore color, contrast, space, layering and letting go, as well as short writing time and painting collaboration if you wish.
INCLUDED IN YOUR REGISTRATION:
-A full day of guided painting and centering, intermixed with writing,
music, and sharing to support your creativity!
-Painting surfaces, brushes and paints
-Beautiful, fresh, healthy breakfast & lunch provided
-Each participant will take home a goodie bag from Dionna & Anu.
-Each registrant will be entered to win 1 original piece of artwork
created by Dionna.
-Private Facebook group for participants that wish to keep in
touch and encourage continued creativity!

INVESTMENT:
$175 per person- Class size is limited, so register early!
MEALS:
A morning breakfast platter will be provided, as well as a healthy lunch. Tea, coffee and water will also be available.
SUPPLIES & SPECIFICS: General supplies will be provided. An email with complete location specifics, scheduling and additional details will be sent to you after sign-up.
BONUS: Each participant will receive a creative goodie bag and be entered in a drawing to win a small original painting!
REFUNDS:
There are no refunds for this workshop, but your registration is fully transferrable to a friend if you find that you cannot attend.

BIOS:
Dionna Raedeke- A seasoned visual and musical curator, Dionna Raedeke has a deep understanding of art mediums, color, composition, materials, scale and loves combining art and music in any capacity possible.
Dionna has a BFA in ceramics and printmaking- and currently works as a studio artist in St. Louis, MO.
Anu French-Anu is an Integrative pediatrician who is passionate about creating resources that will reveal a colorful, peaceful, joyful, united and connected world. Dr. French has published a childrens book I am You, You are Me and recorded a meditative music CD Wake Up My Divinity both available on her website www.anufrench.com, Amazon and Pandora. She partners with yoga teachers in the St Louis community offering mindfulness music workshops.
