What Happens in the Dark: A New Comedy by Kristofer Buxton
Note that online ticket sales are now closed, but plenty of tickets will available at the door for tonights show!
What Happens In the Dark is a farcical comedy that uses the convention of light reversal. In other words, when the lights are on for the characters, they are off for the audience and vice versa. The result is that the audience can only see the characters when they are stumbling around in complete darkness. Mistaken identity, madness, and lots of laughs are sure to follow.
The Plot: Alan and Sharon's marriage is on the brink of destruction when a burglar invades their home. Throughout the night, the burglar unwittingly gets involved in the couple's deepest, darkest secrets. Then just when things couldn't get any worse, a murderous killer in a rabbit suit joins the mix, and Sharon and Alan begin fighting not only to save their relationship, but also their lives.
