Garment Sewing: quilted jacket
The Tamarack Jacket is the perfect spring and fall jacket. Sewn with two layers of lighter weight cotton sandwiching quilt batting, the slightly boxy, drop shoulder jacket is roomy enough for a sweater underneath, or can be worn alone. Learn to baste fabric layers, machine quilt garment pieces, apply bias binding on a curve, create bound seams, and install snaps, hook and eye, or zip closures.
The class consists of three parts:
Friday, April 6 at 7pm for pattern and fabric cutting
Sat & Sunday, April 7-8 at 10am for sewing.
