Kristen Graves and Lindsey Wilson
Kristen Graves is a singer/songwriter and humanitarian from Fairfield, CT, who was recently listed as part of the "new generation of folk music" in The New York Times. With catchy songs, a penchant for storytelling, and inspiring lyrics, Kristen has been delighting audiences across the country, playing nearly 200 shows per year. While constantly traveling and touring, she makes sure that there is always time to be part of the humanitarian organizations whose work she admires and which inspire her. As a result, the signature chemistry of Kristen's performances is a stirring combination of music and justice. Lindsey Wilson is a singer;/songwriter who embraces issues of the heart and mind in her original music. She writes love songs, protest tunes, and lyrics of empowerment. A marketing-major graduate of Virginia's Hampton University who now lives in Brooklyn, her influences include Nina Simone, Joan Armatrading, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Karen Carpenter, Richie Havens, and Tracy Chapman, but Lindsey's message is all her own.
