Author Luncheon
The Brentwood Library's CityRead book for 2017 is The Distance Between us by Reyna Grande. This is a memoir of growing up in Mexico and eventually coming to California. The luncheon will have a Mexican theme carried out in the food and decorations. There will be a silent auction and a raffle to win the piñata quilt shown here.
The new library is expected to open in the summer of 2018 and the proceeds will go toward enhancements to this amazing building.
