The Enneagram (pronounced any-a-gram) is a study of nine basic types of people. It explains why we behave the way we do and points to specific directions for individual growth.
World-renowned founder of the Centering Prayer movement, Father William Meninger teaches the Enneagram, which he has found to be the most valuable tool in his own spiritual journey. Father Meninger delivers a witty and provocative guide to the discovery and understanding of profound truths about human nature that have powerful and important repercussions on each of our daily lives.
The Enneagram is not a religion, but rather an ancient personality profile rooted with the Desert Fathers and Mothers that Father Meninger first encountered while stationed in a monastery in Israel. He has used it ever since to present this delightfully entertaining workshop on how to know thyself on your own spiritual journey to humility and a richer relationship with God and those around you.
Father Meninger leaves his home at St. Benedict's Monastery in Snowmass, Colorado, just four times a year to teach workshops worldwide on contemplative mediation (also known as centering prayer), which he founded, as well as workshops on Forgiveness, the Enneagram, Sacred Scriptures, and Prayer.
