Seussical The Musical
Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, Once on This Island, Ragtime), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

Seussical is fun for the whole family!

Recreational Arts and the Ninety-Nine Cent Players Present Disney's Beauty and the Beast
Recreational Arts and the Ninety-Nine Cent Players present Disneys Beauty and the Beast.

Based on the award-winning film, the stage show features the classic songs by Alan Menkin and the late Howard Ashman, a book by Linda Woolverton, as well as new songs by Mr. Menkin and Sir Tim Rice.

The show tells the story of Belle, a young woman who longs for much more than her life in a provincial village. She finds herself in the castle of the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

This production takes advantage of object puppetry and cast doubling, to provide a new look at this tale as old as time.

Someone's got to go out there and love people and show it.

A one woman, coming-of-age, powerhouse, new fairytale musical. Searingly innovative and comedic, DI LADY DI eschews the fairytale glamor of the peoples princess to illuminate her struggles in a paternalistic society and dysfunctional family. Under pressure to sacrifice self and conform to oppressive external demands, the Queen of peoples hearts bravely relinquishes illusory dreams to emerge from her crucible-chrysalis as an empowered woman of influence, transcending celebrity and transforming the monarchy. DI LADY DI reveals what is under the looking glass, taking an unflinching gaze into the heart and mind of an icon in turmoil, evocatively expressing lessons learned from her private journey. Through beautiful, multi-layered harmonies and incisive lyrics, DI LADY DI celebrates the transformative possibilities of looking inward, overcoming familial trauma, and the ineffable power of a woman's intuition.

Charlotte Munson reprises her lauded performance from the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Alicia Gibson takes the director's chair.

In a world stuck in a pre-post pandemic post-pre pandemic state running on smiles and denial, three coworkers (Krys, Carlos, and Clark) ruminate on what this experience has been like for the not entirely average Euphrates Corporation Team Member. Tasked with hosting the company's seemingly useless fundraiser, the trio take this as an opportunity to bring their message of hope during this time of corporate despair, a Union!

This Labor-comedy is from the mind of Rauly Luna and brought to you good folks at El Bear!

When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. But hes not prepared for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, who is determined to exercise control over the towns youth. When the reverends rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Rens reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. The heartfelt story that emerges pins a father longing for the son he lost against a young man aching for the father who walked out on him.
