POETA PAN send off performance to Chile!*
Dear Community,
You are invited to a special send off performance of POETA PAN, before they head to Chile to perform. Sunday's death of Pinochet, (military dictator of the coup "the other 9/11,") also marks the 58th anniversary Declaration of Human Rights, Dec. 10th, 1948. These parallels reminds us of the wounds of war, and our continued struggle for other solutions to find peace. POETA PAN is a multidisciplinary performance, featuring live music, dance, shadow imagery celebrating the legacy of PABLO NERUDA through his poetry and the experiences of S.F. local Chilean Theater Director, Educator, & Activist, CARLOS BARON.
Thank you,
