9th Annual Trinity Jazz Festival
World-renown saxophonist Kirk Whalum on stage at historic Trinity Church in midtown Houston - an intimate setting with outstanding acoustics - with New Orleans musicians Jason Marsalis on drums,
Roland Guerin on bass,
Matt Lemmler on piano,
Kim Prevost providing vocals.    

Opening for Kirk are the Texas Southern University Jazz Singers with Bert Cross, Director.    

Complimentary wine reception before concerts.    

The Trinity Jazz Festival is funded in part by a grant from the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.    

A free Master's Class will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to noon, in the reception hall with New Orleans musicians.
